- 2023 VW Arteon SEL Premium R-Line
Hello everyone, Ken here from S. Florida. I’m a long time VW guy, but haven’t had one for sometime until now. Previous had a 2023 Kia Stinger. Awesome car, very fun to drive and plenty of room being a hatchback. I am a musician so need the room. Well couple months ago my Stinger was totaled. Got hit while parked and the insurance called it a loss. So now what to get?
Not allot of Stingers on the market especially 2023 models and less a special edition like mine was. Not a SUV guy, so those were out. Love wagons, actually had a Volvo V60 before the Stinger. Now wagons are slim pickings in the US. Audi and Mercedes which are way out of my price range. For hatchbacks, there is the Audi and BMW which also are pricey. The Acura Integra is too small. Then I remembered seeing an Arteon review.
Not many available here no less a CPO one. Ended up a dealership an hour away had four! And I came home with one! A 2023 SEL Premium R-Line. Very impressive car. Not as fun to drive as the Stinger but much more refined and better materials. The tech, well not quite as good as the Stinger. Kia really has stepped up their game in regards to car tech.
That said, I definitely love the Arteon. Beautiful looking car and very nice ride.
First thing, ditched those crappy Conti tires for some Michelin PS4 AS rubber. Got the windows tinted and just had the roof wrapped black. Looks so much better now the entire roof is black. So the required pics.
Love the color too. Goes good with my other car!
